The challenge

Rental and service businesses have to answer the next call while managing inventory, collecting payment, and keeping drivers moving. We needed to build for the office, the field, and the customer without making each team maintain a separate version of the job.

Our approach

We built the platform around the rental lifecycle: storefront booking, inventory availability, customer records, invoicing, and payments. The same operational data supports the team taking orders and the team delivering the work.

Trisha adds an agentic layer through AI call handling and assistant conversations. Customer context, rental requests, account notes, and invoices give the assistant practical work to do beyond answering general questions.

Dispatch and routing extend the platform into the field. Operators can plan routes and assign drivers, while the Driver App supports assigned stops, driver messaging, and status updates. Fleet views and operational metrics help the office follow the day’s work.

We also built customer messaging, social publishing, and developer integrations. The MCP server lets compatible AI agents work with account data and operational tools; API access and signed webhooks support integrations with other business systems.

Behind the build

  • AI voice and assistant experiences that use rental, customer, and invoicing tools rather than a standalone chatbot.
  • Dispatch, routing, and Driver App workflows with shared assignments, messaging, and stop status.
  • Vendor-scoped MCP tools, API access, and signed webhooks for agent and business-system integrations.
  • Multi-tenant PostgreSQL architecture with Stripe payments and vendor payout setup alongside storefront and inventory management.

The outcome

Trashed brings AI call handling, rentals, dispatch, driver tools, storefronts, and payments into one platform. Operators can work from their dashboard, drivers can manage assigned stops, and customers can book and communicate online. External agents can work through the platform’s MCP and API tools.
