PROJECT PREVIEW — HIRE IT DONE

The challenge

People discover Adam Helfman through his home-improvement expertise. Hire It Done needed a clear next step from listening and learning to describing a project and finding a relevant contractor.

Our approach

Adam Helfman brings a contractor’s perspective to home-improvement media. Hire It Done pairs his advice with a network of preferred contractors. Our work with Adam focused on the digital experience around that expertise: a place where homeowners can learn, describe a project, and find a relevant professional.

We built the website and marketplace around those next steps. Expert advice, podcasts, partner profiles, and homeowner requests belong to the same experience, rather than leaving visitors to piece together separate destinations after discovering the brand.

The homeowner journey includes project scoping and contractor discovery. The public site also offers AI Adam, a conversational assistant for home-improvement questions, alongside image-based project quote entry. These are practical ways to start with a question or a project—not just a contact form.

For the business, the platform brings contractor participation and the customer-facing service journey into a shared digital foundation. Our role is the software and product experience; Adam and the Hire It Done team bring the subject knowledge, relationships, and brand.

This project captures what we build for personality-led businesses: a useful product around the expertise people already come for. Hire It Done brings advice, AI-assisted questions, and contractor discovery together so visitors have a place to act on what they learn.

Behind the build

  • Homeowner project scoping and contractor profiles support both sides of the marketplace.
  • AI-assisted questions and image-based project quote entry give visitors more than one way to describe their needs.
  • Editorial content, preferred partners, and service discovery share one digital destination.

The outcome

Hire It Done has a digital destination where advice, AI-assisted questions, homeowner requests, and contractor discovery work together. Adam and his team bring the expertise and relationships; the platform gives visitors a place to act on them.
